Charles runs at a rate of 528 feet per minute. Eleazar runs at a rate of 6.6 feet per second. How much faster is Charles than Eleazar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6.6(60seconds)=396 feet per minute Subtract 528-396=132 Now you have your differce between the two people in feet per minute Divide 132/5280 ( for the total number of feet in a mile) =.025 Now multiply by 60, becuse you are still in minutes. .025(60)=1.5 miles per hour
