I have not read the book or whatever this is from, but from this, I do not agree with scholars. I do not think people fear human existence like the man fears the sea. Yes some people are fascinated by human existence, but I know no one who fears it. A better example of this could be snakes, sharks, swords, etc. Most people are fascinated by these things but fear them if they are near. That is all I could do for this, so I hope this helps you.
