Pressure in a liquid: decreases with increasing depth. increases with increasing depth. decreases with increasing volume. increases with increasing volume.

Anybody??

OpenStudy (aaronq):

The third one is true for gases. Pressure in a liquid increases as the depth increases. Imagine you're scuba diving in the ocean, the deeper you go, the more water is on top of you. All this water above you is pushing down on you because of gravity, since there is more mass, there is more force and equivalently, more pressure \((P=\dfrac{F}{Area})\). |dw:1413156329844:dw|
