Heres better screenshots like through the site

Is 16's question the one above it? If so, the answer would be indirect object, not simple subject.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright i accidentally clicked that answer it wasnt my choice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

17 would be predicate nominative because it's renaming the subject, which is Switzerland. 18 would be complete subject, because that's who the sentence is about.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you SOO much do you know anymore?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Need 19-25 still

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, give me a second to look at it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aww i appreciate it so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

19 is simple predicate, because it's telling what the subject is doing. 20 is complete subject. 21 is simple subject. 22 is complete subject.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Omg thank you so much know the rest or no?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How about you try the last 3 and I'll tell you if they're right or not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright(: stay here while i try them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And let me know if they are right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont understand them could you talk me through them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and explain why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so 23. It has to be predicate, because 'proved' and 'brought' are actions. So it's either going to be compound predicate or complete predicate. A compound predicate is two or more simple predicates with the same subject. A complete predicate includes all the words that are attached to the verb or the action. There aren't any words attached to the predicates, so that means it has to be a compound predicate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was just checking my answers, and I misread #22, that answer is actually compound subject, so don't forget to change that. :) But do you understand #23?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah i understand #23!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is 24 compouind predicate or am i wrong :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

compound*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, for #24, it would be compound predicate nominative. Predicate nominatives rename the subject, so 'sign language' and 'ecology' are renaming the subject 'two courses'.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, you're right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, you're halfway right, just have to add the nominative, lol :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25 is one of the completes i feel like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, #25 is a complete predicate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but 24 is compound predicate right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#24 is compound predicate nominative.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have time for couple more english questions? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://prntscr.com/4w71oe i dont get this one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C, S-V-N.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok (: i have another?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://prntscr.com/4w750n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say 8 is C, because 'heart of India' is figurative language. I'd say 9 is C as well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://prntscr.com/4w76af last 2 i need help with!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5. could either be A or B, if I had to guess I'd say B. 6. probably A.
