One species is divided into two groups that experience both geographical and reproductive isolation from each other. Which is likely to happen to the groups? A. They may develop into different species over time but this is not a certainty. B. Even in different environments, the two groups can never become two species over time. C. The weaker members of both populations will likely die out. This will cause the remaining members to become an endangered species. D. One of the two groups will surely die off.
