What is the formula for this? hydrophosphoric acid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The prefix "hydro" is normally only used when naming acids containing only hydrogen and one other non metal, such as HCl, hydrochloric acid. For the so called "tertiary" acids containing three different elements, the name is based on the central non metal, in this case phosphorous. with the formula H3PO4, the proper name is just "phosphoric acid" For H3PO3 the named changes a little to "phosphorous acid, the suffix "ous" indicating one less oxygen in the formula. Another example. H2SO4, sulfuric acid and H2SO3, sulfurous acid
