OpenStudy (texaschic101):

AA -- alcoholics anonymous

Thank You, do you know this one? :) Which percentage of blood alcohol content is legally considered impaired? 0.05 0.07 0.08 1.0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also what does NA stand for?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

It has changed and I think it is state dependent. As for NA, if you google up AA NA I bed you will find it.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

E gads... that gets more results than I thought. Well, the second A is the same. anonymous

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

Not sure about the BAC and impairment...legally drunk is .10%...read this : http://www.intheknowzone.com/substance-abuse-topics/alcohol/bac.html NA -- narcotics anonymous

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is 0.8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it here @texaschic101 http://oade.nd.edu/educate-yourself-alcohol/what-is-intoxication/

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I am not sure....my link is basically showing .05....but I am not 100% sure

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I hope I was able to help you....at least a little bit :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In some states, the legal definition of intoxication is .08% - I found that on your link but then it says again here... BAC .05 Judgment, attention, and control are SOMEWHAT impaired. Ability to drive safely begins to be limited. Sensory-motor and finer performance are impaired. People are less able to make rational decisions about their capabilities (for example, about driving.) BAC .08 This is legal level for intoxication in some states. There is a DEFINITE impairment of muscle coordination and driving skills. Thanks! I think I'm going to go with 0.8. :) @texaschic101

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

good idea....that looks right. I would go with .08 also
