Given sets: D = {5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10}, E = {1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11}, F = {3, 6, 9, 12} What is D n E?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't, that wouldn't really be fair. If you answer the question right, or at least attempt to (and be fair) I'll give you one. I promise, I'm not a mean liar or whatever.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

how do we define that 'n' symbol?

OpenStudy (gorv):

i think u r asking about intersection

OpenStudy (gorv):

so it means only those element which are present in both set or common in both sets

OpenStudy (gorv):

{1,2,3,4} and {3,4,5,6} here common element are 3 and 4 which are in both

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The intersection symbol @amistre64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So is it possible for an answer to be {5,7,9}? @gorv
