when are hypotheses supported in science

Hi, You should post this in one of your science sections. Hypotheses are supported by replicated experimentation.

Yes, I agree with @Compassionate but, I will help you out with this question anyways.....The hypothesis is a prediction of how a certain set of circumstances will turn out (have some result) at some point in time. When situations that come close to matching those circumstances do come out that way (or very close to it,) at the right amount of time, the hypothesis has been supported. After many replications where those circumstances have results matching very closely, it will move from being a hypothesis to theory/law, scientific principle. That means you have it correct based on what you put in your explanation.
