What theorem can Stephen use to determine the two triangles are similar?
a. Pieces of Right Triangles Similarity Theorem b. Side-Side-Side Similarity Theorem c. Midsegment Theorem d. Side-Angle-Side Similarity Theorem
Stephen is making a map of his neighborhood. He knows the following information: The distance from his home to the park is 10 blocks The distance from his home to his friend's house is 15 blocks The distance from the grocery store to his home is 9 blocks The distance from the bus stop to his home is 6 blocks

I thought it was SSS but I got it wrong.
notice how 15/10 = 9/6, both reduce to 3/2
so essentially the sides are in proportion the common angle is at the house, so we'll use the SAS similarity theorem
the two S's refer to the sides around the angle at the house the A is the angle at the house
But it doesn't say that the angle is congruent.
it's a shared angle. ie the angles overlap perfectly
the small triangle and the large triangle share this angle
Oh. Ok. Sorry, thanks for the help!
How do I give you a medal?
it's fine and you click best response
Alright, thanks again!
