OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh boy another one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i bet you got this though, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried the problem too many times. I only have 2 chances left. i tried all forms with -2 and -4 for both. i dont get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok lets go slow

OpenStudy (daffy_duck):

@satellite73 how do you become a moderator? It's been such a long time since I've been here :D why can't I fan you? The checking fan status thing is so slow :\

OpenStudy (anonymous):

increasing should be two intervals, not one \[(-\infty, -4)\cup (-3,2)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is if i am reading it correctly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see thats where im confused. it says i cant have a union for increasing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then i am not sure what they want you to write maybe put a comma between them? seems like a syntax problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think the problem is maybe with how you are supposed to input the answer, not with the answer itself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep it was supposed to be a comma

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol how'd i guess?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i got decreasing too, just missing the comma ha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!
