pls help will gold

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

It makes a triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which means?

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

CBG is 90 degrees and BGC is 30 dgrees so you add 90 and 30 and subtract it by 180.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

180-(90+30)=60 degrees.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

@Blu-Girl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well on here it says...

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

What does it say.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's not quite right because line ac and ce intersect outside the circle. The measure of the angle created is half the distance of the measures of the intercepted arcs.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it's 50 was it a possible miscalculation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually it was 45

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Oh.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh it says u take arc be-bd divided by 2 equals ace and 150 degrees minus 60 divided by 2 equals ace so 45 degrees does this make sense to you

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

I realized that BGC was not 30 degrees. That's probably where I went wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thts ok u tried

OpenStudy (lyrae):

The circle isn't 360 deg it's just 2 * (30 + 120) = 300 deg. This means we are working in another unit of angle. The coresponding 90 deg angle in the triangle would be 300/4 = 75 deg. From there you can use @confluxepic soulution 150 - (30 + 75) = 45 deg.
