if i can't get first problem should i stop.
A large part of programming is breaking down a problem into manageable pieces. Take your assignment, the problem, break it down into smaller problems, break them down into smaller problems until they're small enough that you're basically forced to write a few lines of code which solves it. That's how to get the problem. If, afterwards it doesn't bring you enjoyment and satisfaction, maybe you should look into something else. You never know until you try....
thx, I believe i will love doing code was just feeling some pressure, created by myself. ill take your advise
Many times a class will skip things that are intended to be found in the book or something like recitations. When you only have some of the information available online, well, it makes it that much harder. However, if you ask here about the parts you do not get, you can get past that.
What is the problem? Maybe we can help you now?
I find mapping out the problem on a wipe-off board helps me a lot. I plot out a problem or a program I'm trying to write and it really helps me focus and break things down into smaller steps. If I get frustrated, I walk away and come back to it in an hour when my mind is fresh. II've secretly wanted to study compsci for years, but have avoided it because I am mediocre with math. This course has been a great way for me to experiment with the subject and learn at my own pace. Don't pressure yourself and don't give up :)
