>>> declensions are confusing i do not want answers... i just need some help

OpenStudy (hannaha):

wow. i kno that wasn't but wow, that looks hard :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) Second declension. 2) First declension.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure! But a good rule is that nouns that have genitive singular ending -ae will always be first declension. Nouns that have genitive singular ending -i will always be second declension.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ager is second declension masculine. (All second declension nouns are either masculine or neuter.) Nauta is first declension masculine. (Most nouns in first declension are feminine, but this is one of those tricky ones!) Equus is second declension masculine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! So would magnistra be first declension feminine?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Magistra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, I don't mind helping.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nominative plural is -ae and -i. So 1 would be A & B. Accusative singular is -am and -um. So 2 is A & C. Dative plural is -is. So 3 is D. Ablative singular is -o and -a. But the -a has an accent on it. So it'd only be C.

No problem! Good luck with Latin! :)

How do i become a fan?

OpenStudy (hannaha):
