not sure about 4. according to https://www.ma.utexas.edu/users/mks/statmistakes/skeweddistributions.html " But for skewed distributions, the standard deviation gives no information on the asymmetry. It is better to use the first and third quartiles"

If I remember correctly, medians are used when used when the data is skewed
