Can someone help me with two good examples of(use the law of syllogism to draw a conclusion) plz I don't get it

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Think of the law of syllogism as the logic equivalent of the transitive property. The transitive property: If a = b, and b = c, then a = c The law of syllogism: If p, then q; if q, then r. I can then conclude: If p, then r. Example: Statement A: If it rains, I will use my umbrella. Statement B: If I use my umbrella, I will get tired. I can conclude: If it rains, I will get tired.
