Which point of view is most reliable?
I'm not saying I know for sure, but I just thought I'd give my input. I'd probably say third person/third person omniscient because it gives information about every character instead of just one. It provides more information than any other points of view, but you should just go with what you think if you don't know if it's correct. :)
My point of view of course~ x'D

It really depends on how reliable the NARRATOR is~ So if the narrator is the main character of the story - giving his/her point of view - then he/she MIGHT be reliable, if his/her actions or thoughts can be related to by most of the readers... but he/she can be misleading.. A perfect example of a character (in first person) that would be considered UNRELIABLE would be one of Edgar Allan Poe's main characters in his short stories. Like in his "A Cask of Amontillado" the narrator is OBVIOUSLY not sane, and explains how he plans to venge himself with murder. Can he be trusted as a narrator? But of course, like most of Poe's questionable works, we're left confused and overwhelmed by the characters and plot... Back to our topic~ So you see that first person isn't always the most accurate point of view. Third person ~ on the other hand, can be loads more reliable and accurate. Because, for one, the narrator isn't involved in the story, therefore he/she isn't affected by the plot, characters, or conflict whatsoever. The narrator is just there to explain what he/she sees, not expressing any his/her personal emotions (but can most accurately express the feelings of the characters if the story is narrated in third person - omniscient point of view ~which can help us further determine how we feel about specific characters) ~For these reasons, I believe that Third Person - Omniscient is the most reliable and accurate point of view that can be used in writing ~Hope that helped. Good Luck *^-^
