It was an awesome story!!! >:D Buuuut I'd say it's A.) ~because well while reading the ending, the reader is really tensed up, not knowing what to expect, and as the intensity increases - BAM!! - the author tosses in that question so suddenly, it throws you off. Well that's what it did to me anyway.. cx
