A uniform rod, 2m long, weighs 0.4N. If weights of 0.8N and 0.4N are suspended from ends A and B, at point will it balance?

Consider a point on the rod...and equate the torque at that points to find distance if balancing point from either sides
So, basically, trial and error?
Nah...I am saying that we consider AB as rod...we assume a point C which is at distance 'x' from either point A or B...this way we can get the torque due to both sides weights...and if we equate them...we get the value of X,I.e, the unknown distance or rather the balancing point
