Subtract 5x to both sides: -7y = -5x + 10 Now divide -7 to all terms..what do you get? @jordanloveangel
Simplifying -7y = -5x + 10 Reorder the terms: -7y = 10 + -5x Solving -7y = 10 + -5x this is how i started it is this right @igreen
@YungKhris
I already figured it out for you..dividing -7 to all terms will give you: \(\dfrac{-7y}{-7} = \dfrac{5x}{7} - \dfrac{10}{7}\)
Just simplify -7y/-7..what does that give you? @jordanloveangel
aye
y-7
right?
No.. you're dividing -7y/-7..it's the same thing as -7/-7 and you add the y after. So what's -7 / -7? @jordanloveangel
1
Yep, so that gives us 1y or just y. So the final answer is: \(y = \dfrac{5}{7}x - \dfrac{10}{7}\)
So which option is it gonna be? @jordanloveangel
C
Yep!
thanx
