OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

this squiddeh needs helpsies :) what is the equation for photosynthesis and where do the reactants come from and where do the products go. will reward with a wet squid cuddle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation for Photosynthesis is: CO2 + H2O + Sunlight = Glucose + O2 The reactants (CO2 & H2O) come from organisms, and are also found in the atmosphere. The sunlight obviously comes from the sun. In addition, both CO2 and H2O are products in a related equation, Cellular Respiration. The products (Glucose and O2) are both taken up by organisms, as a food source and for breathing. These become reactants in the Cellular Respiration reaction.
