A virus! Ahem... no. When they ask it is usually a word for your point of view. When you put your "point of view word" into a topic, it makes things less reliable. Try and look up words that mean point of view and you should find the answer.

No, you conjecture before hand. You come up with an idea and then test it. What this question is asking about is when you test to get specific results in a way that is designed to get those results no matter what the truth is. There is a term for that and it is a problem of bad science.
