Kelly buys shoes with all of her money. She only has $150. One pair of shoes is for her and they cost $40. The other 2 pairs of shoes are for her sisters. Each of the pairs of shoes cast the same price. Determine the price of one pair of shoes?

$150-$40=110 $110/2=55

you will subtract 40 from 150 because thats what they gave you. then you get 110. it said oth pairs of her sisters were the same, so divide 110 by 2. the answer is 55. to check, add all together. 55+55+40 = 150
