OpenStudy (anonymous):

@fiore01 Did you do this one already?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

I'll wait till she's here ;P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hahah oh boy I shouldn't be doing schoool this lateee. ;-;

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Lol well regardless, any idea where to get started?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ha no.. Oh and then I need help with this one then I should be good.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@fiore01

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is so irritating that I'm blowing bubbles in my bedroom, lol.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Well for that first one....we can just mix and match some operations and see what works out... And irrational number is any number that cannot be made to be a fraction.... for example...I found one 5 - √8 + 24 = an irrational number. *Laughs at the bubbles comment XD*

OpenStudy (fiore01):

I have this one but it's like 6 questions ahead of me so no not yet DX

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

oh no the deaded question marks!!! Grrr \[\large 5 - \sqrt{8} + 24\] is what I wrote

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

And for the second one *sorry I'm rushing I have to head out in a few minutes

OpenStudy (fiore01):

Its ok!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

IS IT?! xD

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Lol dont push it @samsteronbroadway ;P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kidding kidding ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but what's the explanation of it doeee

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Explanation of what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like how the answer to your equation is a irrational number

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Well, if you cannot express the result as a fraction...then it is irrational.. for example...1.5 can be expressed as 3/2 0.33 can be expressed as 1/3 etc... my equation \[\large 5 - \sqrt{8} + 24 = 26.1715728752538099 ...\] etc... if you can express that as a fraction ...good luck lol...no you cant....that's the point...if that number will KEEP going and going without ever having a pattern (as this does)...it is irrational

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANKS :D If only I knew the last one ;/ I'D BE DONE

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

And forgive me lovely ladies I must go however (i hope that first explanation made sense) for the second question you posted ...I found a good link that explains it....ALMOST as good as I would ;) http://mathbydesign.thinkport.org/images/pdfs/Hint_Reflections.pdf I hope that helps and makes sense, and I'll check back in how you guys did when I get back on... So long ^_^ <3

OpenStudy (fiore01):

I got it from here thanks so much for your help! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANKS BYE! :D

OpenStudy (fiore01):

Jeezus 24 questions to go! lol DX
