Help, will fan and medal. Need done asap
Okay.
WHAT
IS THE QUESTION
There's 5 questions.
TOO HARD 4 ME SORRY
Okay then.
4x - 5y = 9 Okay, so we need to first divide by 4 x - 5y = 9/5 Now subtract x 5y = (9/5) - x Now divide it all by 5.
Mjmadskillz, do not give out answers. It hinders the learning process.
So... 9/5 or..?
@Compassionate
Here is a simpler way to do it 4x - 5y = 9 Subtract 4x -5y = 9 - 4x Now divide by -5 to get your answer.
So i divide 9 by -5 and 4 by -5? this is confusing me, my teacher didn't explain it.
\[4x - 5y = 9\]\[4x - 4x - 5y = 9 - 4x\]\[-5y = 9 - 4x\] \[y = \frac{ 9 - 4x }{ -5 }\] Now, we see what y equals, but your question is basically rearranging the terms. So it wants to be confusing. While yes, this is correct, it just wants you to express it differently. What do you think needs to be done to mach this with your questions?
I'm guessing make the 9 and 4 negatives. I don't know how though.
Negatiaves cancel. Remember. So we have negative four divided by negative five, and positive 9 divided by negative 5. So the nine becomes negative and the four positive
So its A?
