Complete the standard form of the equation –4y = 3 – 2x. ____x + _____y = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You just need to move the x-term over to the left side of the equation. So instead of -2x on the right, when it flips sides it becomes (positive) 2x. So your equation would be 2x - 4y = 3

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

1/2 @jwhite12

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

is it 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope, the equation in standard form is: \[2x-4y=3\] So if you just need the numbers for the blanks, then they are "2" with the x and "-4" with the y.

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

so the answer is 2 and -4 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

thanx
