Which of the following strategies is appropriate for factoring polynomials with 2 terms? A. determine if the polynomial is the sum of two squares B. determine if the polynomial is the difference of two squares C. determine if the polynomial is a perfect square trinomial D. determine if it can be factored by grouping

Each would work... A would work if the two terms were x^2 and 25 -> x^2 +25 (This is not possible, it cannot be A) B would work if the two terms were x^2 and 25 -> x^2 - 25 C would work if you had 3 terms, but you only have 2 so forget C. And D, you need 4 terms. So forget D.

Thanks so much :)
