Which definition correctly describes a haploid cell during meiosis? a cell that has double the number of chromosomes as the parent cell a cell that has two complete sets of chromosomes a cell that has half the number of chromosomes as the daughter cell a cell that has one complete set of chromosomes
@Abhisar
A haploid cell is which has only set of chromosomes like sperm and ovum while diploid cell is the one which have two sets of chromosomes like all other somatic cells.
In meosis, the parent cell is diploid i.e it has two sets of chromosome while the daughter cell is haploid i.e has only hald set of chromosome.
i.e has only *half (not hald) set of chromosome..
Which plant-cell organelle supports and maintains the cell's shape and protects the cell from damage? cell membrane cell wall chloroplast vacuole
exactly
So what should be the correct option ?

It should be cell wall, though it's not an organelle
