Can someone explain to me on how to do this? Please I am really confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. x = 15, y = 12 b. x = 14, y = 11 c. x = 14, y = 12 d. x = 15, y = 11

OpenStudy (mvpriest6):

well what is the equation for this problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From the picture, there are three: (2x+7)° (12y+1)° (3x-7)°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi... I can help you . @OmiLala

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^_^ Yaayy

OpenStudy (mvpriest6):

ok you help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see that the 1st and the third angles from the figure are equal, for they are corresponding angles and the sum of the 1st and 2nd angle is 180 degree

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@OmiLala

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;-; Hold on I need to get my text book, I forgot what a corresponding angle is. o-o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

XD Nvm I remember...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then we have 2x+7=3x-7 which gives x=14 degrees and just put this value in the second and 1st angles and just add them to 180 degress to get the value of y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@OmiLala did you get it now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I do. y=12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup. correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^_^ Thank you.
