OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Wouldn't #2 just be 1? (answer choice A)? @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

OpenStudy (phi):

do you know the Law of Sines (seems like all your questions use it) I would use it to find the angle that goes with side b. can you do that ?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

I got approx. 21.7 for B

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

But I don't see how there could be more than one triangle to satisfy the conditions...?

OpenStudy (phi):

can you show the first step you did to get 21.7 ?

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Yeah...hold on whiel i type it

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

oops, sorry i wrote the problem down sloppily on my paper and used 16 instead of 76 for angle A. I did it again and got domain error on my calculator

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Does that mean no triangle satisfies the conditions?

OpenStudy (phi):

yes, it means there is no triangle with those numbers

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Okay. Thank you. :)
