sobody..............anybody

OpenStudy (cinniomon):

ok for the first one, William B. Travis and a group of colonists from San Felipe marched on Anahuac in protest of customs duties, and forced the garrison commander to release Briscoe, who had been arrested for protesting customs duties. Several towns disapproved of Travis’s action and apologized to General Martín Perfecto de Cós, the commander of Mexican forces in Coahuila.

OpenStudy (cinniomon):

Cós rejected the apology and wanted Travis and the others arrested He also on orders from Santa Anna, arrested Lorenzo de Savala, who fled to Texas after being critical of Santa Anna

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that for #2

OpenStudy (cinniomon):

yeah

ok

OpenStudy (cinniomon):

for 3, the consultation was a group created after the Texans were unwilling to turn in their friends and sought independence from Mexico

OpenStudy (cinniomon):

there were 2 sides in the Consultation, the war party and the peace party the peace party wanted peaceful relations with Mexico and feared that the Consultation would anger Mexico. The consultation was just for each group to express their ideas before an action was agreed upon, which was eventually seeking independence

OpenStudy (cinniomon):

the war party wanted an immediate declaration of independence, even at the cost of war and approved greatly of the Consultation

OpenStudy (cinniomon):

How's that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!

OpenStudy (cinniomon):

no problem! :)
