"Polynomial and Rational Functions" 76.) f(x)=-x^4 + 6x^3 - 9x^2. Can someone help me sketch the graph of this function? I solved it, I just need to know how to graph it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first rewrite this function in a way that you can find the roots of this polynomial

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, i found the leading coefficient, the y-intercept, the x-intercept, and maybe the multiplicity.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Leading coefficient is -x^4, which is down, down since a is negative and n is even. The y-intercept is (0,0). The x-intercept is x=0 and x=3. The multiplicity is 2 I believe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, now that you have the roots, you can plot some random points inside the roots intervals, just to give you a idea of the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, all this informations you found is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, basically, make a T-Chart with 2 or 3 random points?
