What is the slope of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And What is the slope of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From the first graph, C has the coordinate (5,-2) and D has the coordinate (7,6). Now remember that the slope between two points \((x_1,y_1)\) and \((x_2,y_2)\) is given by \(m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\). Using this formula, do you think you can find the slope of CD now? From the second graph, E has the coordinate (-6,8) and point F has the coordinate (2,-2). Using the slope formula I mentioned earlier, can you take things from here in finding the slope of EF? I hope this helps! :-)
