OpenStudy (anonymous):

what idiot typeset this? i assume the middle term is supposed to be \[\huge 3\log_4(y^{\frac{1}{3}})\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea thats what made me confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of so, the 3 comes up in the exponent to give \[\huge \log_4(y^{\frac{3}{3}})=\log_4(y)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 1/3 is an exponent of y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thanks, i know how to do it.
