Find a polynomial function whose graph passes through (5,11), (11,-11), and (0,4).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this one is for @freckles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but you can start with the fact that if it is \[y=ax^2+bx+c\] then since it passes through \((0,4)\) you know \(c=4\) so you only have two more coefficients to find

OpenStudy (freckles):

you can make 3 equations given 3 points so something with 3 unknowns in it like what satellite has suggested as your polynomial and i guess a girl can't get a beer real quick

OpenStudy (freckles):

or a boy whatever i am

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unicorns don't drink beer well maybe beglan kriek cherry or something

OpenStudy (freckles):

@acestro504 do you know how to solve a system of linear equations also you now have a system of 2 linear equations with 2 variables since satellite has give you c
