what first offence things can you get time in jail for

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The theory behind court ordered community service is that mandating minor offenders to perform community service offers more benefit to society than incarceration of those offenders. The community benefits from the work that the offender performs and avoids the cost of incarceration while the offender benefits from a lesser sentence and, it is hoped, is rehabilitated, educated and enriched through the work they perform. Usually this form of punishment is only afforded to NON-violent offenders

Some rules/laws that can be found in schools are...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

types of speech and actions not protected by the First Amendment...things like Obscenity Fighting words bullying Blackmail Acting aggressively toward administrators True threats Promises to commit crimes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Books are banned from schools because they are too controversial, or go against school policies and rules. There are clubs and activities you can join IF you meet certain criteria.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are dress codes in some schools too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now if none of these rules and regulations were found in schools think about what that would mean for the school... There would be chaos. Kids would wear inappropriate clothing, act out, fight all the time. Things like that.... Thank you for the complement, but I would rather someone complement me on being smart than pretty. But it was nice of you to say anyway :) I hope I helped you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you did and yes you are very smart
