In the symmetrical structure of "The Lady or the Tiger?" which event from the second half of the story mirrors the narrator's explanation of how chance alone decides an accused man's fate?
Well, from what I remember, the main character relied on the princess [the love of his life] to tell him which door to open and he was going to CONFIDENTLY go with what she had to choose. But the narrator had explained that she was irrationally jealous of any other women that spoke to or even looked at this young man, but that she also loved him passionately. So which would be stronger? Her love for him [meaning she let's him live, but giving him up to another beautiful woman] OR her jealousy of other women [meaning she will direct him towards the door with the lion, so that he doesn't marry another maiden].
So either way ONLY by chance would he live or die~
