6 + n > 17 Medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Subtract 17 - 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

n can be any number greater then 11 to make that statement true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, so n is ? than 17?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you would subtract 6 on both sides so then youre left with n>17-6 n>11

OpenStudy (cheerleader):

any number greater then 11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kah.x No direct answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thx! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AnswerMyQuestions she had already said 11...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kah didn't give a direct answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Aroura2908 Yes, @kah.x did.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He gave the answer out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i wasnt just flat out saying it i was explaining the process to a problem she had already answered.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kah.x So? She still didn't know what inequality symbol to use.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the symbol was already there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well maybe you should check what she wrote again cause her answer is really good <3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kah.x It's still a direct answer, because the person asking the question can take the answer and not look at the explanation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Read this, from the moderator:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kah.x ignore @AnswerMyQuestions

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

was my answer good? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@blurbendy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well thats not my problem now is it. i explained it and if she chooses not to read it i cant help that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it was Thank You!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was replying to @thadyoung

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SHE HAD ALREADY SAID 11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kah.x READ THIS:

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you want to report me to a mod go right ahead but i didnt do anything wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@blurbendy Please come over here and help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I READ IT BUT SHE HAD ALREADY REPLIED THEREFORE YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, @kah.x did.

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

hey why are we arguing? the question has been answered now can we move on?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@blurbendy Didn't @kah.x give a direct answer?

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

OMFG shut up @AnswerMyQuestions its over!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Aroura2908 It doesn't matter.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kah.x Still gave out the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This shows you what I have to deal with.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AnswerMyQuestions i get that you feel cool because youve got a cool little sticker next to your name, but listen carefully. i explained to subtract 6 on both sides. she had said the answer was 11. therefore you fill in the blanks n>17-6 which 17-6 is 11 like she said so you replace it and n>11. i didnt give her the answer she had already stated it

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

how does an answer effect your life again?

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

i swear this website sucks now its all people like this getting worked up over nothing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kah.x Who cares if you explained it? The person asking the question could just take the answer without looking at the explanation.

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

I see where both of you are coming from. Generally, it would have been better to say something like n > 17-6 n > ??? It's not that big of a deal, just try to let the person asking the question do SOME of the work. That's all I'm going to say about it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thadyoung hes trying to report me to a mod and get me kicked off of here because of something i didnt do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@blurbendy she had already said 17-6 was 11

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

lol ik whats happening, you didnt do anything wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@blurbendy So who are you agreeing with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Aroura2908 I don't care if you report me, because I didn't do anything wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AnswerMyQuestions (s)hes saying youre making a big deal out of nothing

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

I know she already said 11. I'm just telling you the best way to answer a question like this according to the rules of the site.

OpenStudy (thadyoung):

im logging off this is dumb

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

If you already know that, then great. Next question!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much, @blurbendy !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually, he was agreeing with me, so that means he was disagreeing with you, so why would you say "Yes Thank You!" to him?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It looks to me that you're starting it... >.>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ooh, cussing, better report that.

OpenStudy (cheerleader):

@AnswerMyQuestions you need to stop being rude to people she didnt even do anything to you other then say what sh felt and @Aroura2908 plz just stop egging him on.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AnswerMyQuestions you need to drop this. its done and over with. yes (s)he said i probably shouldve said it differently, but (s)he also said that youre making a big deal out of it. honestly just drop it and stop trying to report everyone for every little thing.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Simple problems lets not worry about direct answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the worlds not black and white, i was not right nor wrong, and neither were you. stop trying to say youre right when in actuality both of us are partially correct. just drop it sheesh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheSmartOne ?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Its a simple question.. So lets not worry about if someone gave a direct answer.. If the question is 1+1.. Are you going to be able to explain it?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

That is what I meant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thesmartone YES thank you

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Ok Thanks I guess :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for standing up for me. -.-
