Please assist, thank you Myopia: A. is the term for the normal healthy eye. B can be treated by placing a diverging lens in front of the eye. C. occurs if the eyeball is too shallow or the lens is too flat. D. can be corrected by placing a converging lens in front of the eye

OpenStudy (bioepic):

Myopia is nearsightedness. Does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right I am aware of that, but I'm still confused with the wording on the answers

OpenStudy (bioepic):

@PRAETORIAN.10 is the expert.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

myopia needs a diverging lens, because the problem is the light doesnt fall on the retina

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yes, that's correct.....diverging or Concave lens are used to correct myopia.

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

Pretty much this is a facet of ophthalmology within which this occurs as a aliment / condition of the eye whereby parallel rays are focused in front of the retina of the eye -- this is directly in opposition to hyperopia. This is as Biobro said; nearsighted-ness which of course means that only objects near to the human eye can be seen, well, at least clearly.

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

......yeah.....i'm a BAWS.......please dont get up xD @arabpride

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you
