please help me simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{25x ^{12}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 5x^6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to break up the problem, yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya nailed it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sqrt{25x^{12}} = \sqrt{5*5 * x^6 *x^6}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just take the square root of 25 (5) and since the x is ^12, when exponents are insider a radical, you divide so x^12/2=6

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

(5x^6)(5x^6)=(5x^6)^2

I gave you the medal @dumas because you have the lowest score and I want to help you out;)
