I'm taking an online English course. I did the entire lesson and understand the basics of these questions. Not really sure which of these inform the reader, and which explain. Here are two of my questions which the answers I've chosen. 1. In an informative/explanatory article about summer activities for teenagers, which of these concepts would be used to inform the reader? (5 points) Choose one answer. a. The importance of staying active b. The best new summer movies (This one) c. The locations of summer camps d. The amount of money earned in part time jobs Question 2 Marks: 5 In an informative/explanatory article about technology, which of these concepts would be used to explain something to the reader? (5 points) Choose one answer. a. Using wireless modems (This one) b. Networking companies c. Available tabbed browsers d. Virus protection software programs
Where are the answer choices?
@fustration thank you for answering so quickly, I just updated the question.
Hmm...in question one it says its an informative article about summer activities so I would think the answer would be the importance of staying active
Thank you but in my lesson it defines informative as "Increases knowledge of a subject or concept. Focuses on just the facts. I don't think it would be A because that seems to be Explanatory. The definition for Explanatory is Explains a procedure, process, or concept.
ok
I will just go with my gut on these questions. Unfortunately I don't think you helped enough to receive a best response and your answer just now was rude in my opinion. Have a good day
I was giving you that information as I thought it would help you I didn't take the time to write that thinking you would just say "ok"
I wasn't trying to be rude at all. I was trying to hlp because im usually good at stuff like this, but I got thrown for a loop so I figured id move out the way and let someone else try
No hard feelings man. I'm just frustrated with these questions and misinterpreted what you said. If someone else thinks they know the answers please help
Maybe try the English section?
