If the value is decreasing, the value would be negative, but if the value is increasing, it would be positive. @mathisreallyhardforme Is the equation positive?

Oh, and if it is going left, It's negative, and if It's going right, It's positive.

That is correct. All the y-coordinates of the line are the same while the x values vary. x can be anything but y has to be -4. Hence, the equation y = -4. @mathisreallyhardforme
