Inductive reasoning follows because a pattern has been established in prior experience. This is where postulates & theorems are developed and exist. For example, Side Side Side postulate states that if three sides of one triangle are congruent to three sides of another triangle, then these two triangles are congruent. so that means, when you see another triangle like this, then the rule follows & applies. Deductive reasoning has things build on each other to lead you to the conclusion.
