Help! This should be an easy question, I've just completely forgot how to do it. If I am given the two sides and diagonal of a parallelogram and NO angles and asked to find all the angles, how do I find them? I know opposite angles are congruent, and that consecutive are supplementary, but since its not a right triangle, how do I find the angles? Can I still use SOHCAHTOA?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

can you post the full problem?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

SOHCAHTOA is only used for right triangles. However, you can still use trig functions when it comes to using the law of sines or law of cosines.

H|dw:1416286121010:dw|(think I drew that right) here is the problem: Two sides and a diagonal of a parallelogram are 7, 9, and 15 respectively. Find the measures of the angles of the parallelogram.

|dw:1416286115761:dw| yeah i would use law of cosines to get the angle
