The baby, so wailing describes the baby. 4. What object is cleaning feverishly? The woman, so the phrase describes the woman.
1 is held captive by his own lifestyle choices. When someone is pinned, they are being forced to remain in one place. 2 is repetition. He didn't repeat any of the phrases in the poem. 3 is baby. 4 is the woman. If she was cleaning feverishly, she would be cleaning the very best she could so she wouldn't miss anything.
