Many Europeans were converting Japanese citizens to Christianity. c. Japanese citizens were not immune to European diseases. d. Tokagawa Ieyasa could not collect taxes from European merchants, which caused a decline in the economy of Japan.

well no bcuz the government dosent care about the merchants in Japan but the were very controlling and wanted noone in japan to be christian even today thts how it is
