OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

I ................. Disney World in the U.S.A one day. (am visiting - visit - have visited - will visit) Please, answer + explanation

OpenStudy (arabpride):

will visit~ one day.. future~

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

I think it's an intention so we must choose "is going to visit" but it's not available here so why don't we go for "am visiting" ?

OpenStudy (arabpride):

NO that wouldn't make sense with the phrase "one day" put it together~

OpenStudy (arabpride):

No**

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Clarify , what you are saying abit , why doesn't it make sense ? Is that because he is not sure about whether he will visit Disney or not; So i am maxing up sureness and predition ?

OpenStudy (arabpride):

Read it to yourself: Which makes sense? 1.) I *am visiting* Disney World in the U.S.A one day. or 2.) I *will visit* Disney World in the U.S.A one day.

OpenStudy (arabpride):

Since he/she PLANS on visiting Disney World one day, it "will be" in the future, therefore a future verb would be necessary~

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

To me logically , the 2nd. But in books everything differs , doesn't it ?

OpenStudy (arabpride):

Yep, the second is correct, because the verb tense much agree with the object~

OpenStudy (arabpride):

must agree*

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Agree with it about ?

OpenStudy (arabpride):

with the object~
