Please help omg

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

do you have answer choices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No there are no answer choices

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

ok well i think that with every dilation there is a function that goes with it, as the dilation changes the function changes

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

oes that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok i understand that but is there any way to go into detail?

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

A dilation is a type of transformation that changes the size of the image. The scale factor, sometimes called the scalar factor, measures how much larger or smaller the image is. which represents a function.....if you have a shape that is graphed you can write a function for it [Ex:(2, 3) (7, 9)] those are functions because X value doesnt repeat itself, so when you dialate a figure (make it smaller) there is not a way that X can repeat itself

Thanks! So much!

OpenStudy (catlover5925):

no problem does that make sense??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes much better now. I could never find anything in my lesson to help me understand
