(Reuters, November 11, 2004). Juicy turkey, luscious mashed potatoes, and tart cranberries are enough to make anyone's mouth water. Wouldn't it be great if you could carry Thanksgiving dinner around? One company found a way to make the best meal of the year portable—they bottled it! Jones Soda Co. is reintroducing its popular turkey- and gravy-flavored soda, just in time for the holidays. The tan-colored beverage sold out in three hours last year after the company introduced it on its web site. Some customers turned around and offered their supply on an auction web site called eBay. There, it sold for over $100 a bottle. This year, several retail stores will carry the sodas in limited quantities. The so-called "holiday packs" will sell for $16 each. They will include Turkey Soda as well as four new "side dishes." Customers will guzzle Mashed Potato & Butter Soda, Cranberry Soda, Green Bean Casserole Soda, and Fruitcake Soda. "Last year, the response to our Turkey and Gravy Soda was overwhelming, but we really didn't have side dishes to go with it," explained Peter van Stolk of Jones. He jokingly touted the convenience of the pack. "The average consumer doesn't have the time to prepare a full turkey meal." The holiday packs will not be available after they sell out, but Jones will continue to churn out its other flavors. Many are nowhere close to ordinary, but they're not as weird as the holiday pack, either. They include Chocolate Fudge, Blue Bubblegum, and Crushed Melon. Jones is not the only company to come up with some off-the-wall food products. Fans of beef jerky can buy clam jerky from the Tengu Company, which is based in Japan. In England, people snatch up potato chips with flavors like shrimp and sausage. In Canada, a beverage made of soy and oats is no longer for sale—maybe it wasn't popular, for some reason! Jones expects that its Thanksgiving-inspired sodas will be a great success. In fact, they'll probably be sold out before Thanksgiving! thats the story i said a but it said c was correct and i dont think that was right
