Will fan and medal for help! I need one economic, political and social feature for Great Zimbabwe. And one social and economic for Kongo. All help is appreciated!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Great Zimbabwe prospered by sending interior trade goods, especially gold, copper and iron, along the Limpopo and Save Rivers to cities along the Indian Coast. Wealth in trade led to the rise of a new elite that ruled Great Zimbabwe and the surrounding kingdom from the 11th through the 15th centuries CE.

Kongo also had a lot of resources, they were accomplished farmers and minors. They trades a lot of gold, copper and iron. But there real fortune came from there raffia cloth. All this wealth led to new social classes and eventually tot here first king. Around 1390 CE, Lukeni lua Nimi united several territories under one rule and became the first manikongo (or king) The Kongo became an empire itself that would dominate the region into the 17th century CE. When the Portuguese came in 1480 CE, the rulers of Kongo quickly forged ties with the Portuguese rulers, both through trade and through the adoption of Christianity.
